I am new to this forum and I had surgery on one of my breasts 4 weeks ago. The following may have been discovered by people before me but I say it anyway: Whilst trying out ways to make things more comfortable around the affected area, I found the following helped: I wore the first (skin-friendly) garment to my body inside out. So that the seams are not on the skin. I also wore my bra (with a back extension) on the outside of the first garment (like Superman with his pants lol). Hope this will help someone else. x
Thank you very much for your good wishes. I am very lucky. Surgery took care of my affliction and no further treatment is needed. All Christmasses and birthdays rolled in one x
That's such great news Pixeline. I'm really happy for you - it's great to hear good outcome stories!
I have my ct scan this evening - 7.20pm! Have been a quivering wreck all day but I'm sure I'll feel better once it's done and I get results next Friday. Keep your fingers crossed for me x
I found that waiting for news was the most disconcerting thing. Funny enough, even though they were not good tidings, once the verdict arrived I felt a great relief. Best to keep busy - paint the kitchen or watch all episodes of your favourite series. I shall cross everything crossable for you x
