Just found out got breast cancer

Hi new here I found out I got breast cancer not in lymp nodes... waiting for a scan before treatment starts..I am so scared I keep googling stuff then its making me ill and then given me pains all over thinking it has spread through my body and I know I should stop it .....I thought I was dealing with it then today reality hit with the passing of sarah harding ...sorry if this sounds like I being silly thank you anyway

I think things would be a lot better in UK if yearly mammograms were offered to all women rather than 3 yearly. That might ensure that cancers were detected earlier.

I completely agree, yearly mammograms offered to all women. Hopefully detect alot more cancers earlier, so they can be treated. xx

I agree and drop the age limit. 50 is a little high considering how many people I've seen on here who are under that. Appreciate that the dreaded covid also delayed things but I was only 48. x

HI Sisters4, so sorry to hear about your cancer, you are in the right place for support, try not to google as there are so many different types of BC and if your lymph glands are clear it is unlikely to have spread. Hopefully you will not have to wait too long before you get your treatment plan, the waiting is the hardest, you are not alone. Love from Ann
