Yes , I think I must have got the wrong information as in  my area they d rather see you face to face apparently but I have now been in and had my results xx

Hi Shaz52, it could be because covid cases are rising so much. A lot of my appointments were calls, including my original biopsy results - I was told I definitely had cancer over the phone but I actually found that better as I had my husband there, who couldn't come to any face to face appointments. I ended up getting frustrated if I had a face to face and it wasn't necessary - i.e. could have easily been done over the phone, as I found travelling to hospital a bit of a waste of time when I was working full time!

As long as you're OK about the calls, then I wouldn't worry too much about why some are telephone.

It seems to be different everywhere.  The hospital I’m under has allowed my husband into every appointment.  The only time he wasn’t allowed was when I was an inpatient.  I drove myself to & from my radiotherapy.  He did annoy me when he asked why I was getting stressed waiting to see the oncologist!

So pleased you have had your results, hope all went well. 5 1/2 weeks I have waited for results. How did your results go xx
