Has anyone tried fasting the day before chemo? Does it reduce the sickness/diarrhoea ? If you fast, does that just mean liquids and no solid food?
hi Babafudge
intermittent fasting can have benefits and skipping a meal here and there would do me no harm at all, under normal circumstances.
However, you will be given anti sickness drugs prior to chemo and they are usually pretty effective.
I would definitely discuss this with your team before trying it.
Just looking at your profile I'm not sure you should be breathless, when are you next in the unit with your team?
hugs
