The wait

The waiting is for sure the worst.  I tried hard to focus on things I could control, so eating, drinking, exercise and try to distract myself from the things I could not control, by working and keeping busy.  But it's hard…..good luck 

I feel like you at the moment going to have my mammogram this afternoon . its my first appointment. I can't see the medical team just yet can't get an appointment . its been two weeks since I found the lump . I'm just overwhelmed . thank you for your post 

When you go for your mammogram you will probably have an ultrasound. If they find anything they may do a biopsy as well and then you will see the breast care specialist.  That seems the norm at most hospitals with breast care units xx 

Thank you for reply just had mammogram and have been just given an appointment with the doctor at the end of next week . I suppose they will do the rest of the tests then ?

I had mamagram, ultrasound and biopsy all in 1 day, then had to wait for results , then appointment for mir, now need another ultrasound. they have been fast but not fast enough lol xx

I’m waiting for results of a CT scan and a bone scan. Counting down the days until Thursday. Just feel so anxious and emotional. Everyone is telling me to be positive but it’s so hard.
