The wait

The waiting for results is torture. I found 1 lump and then found another lump in other breast. First lump was cysts (again) 2nd lump is cancer. Only very small at 9mm. Mri revealed I have lots of cysts in both breasts. My breasts were described as snowflakes. So another appointment with radiologist next week so he can have another look. Soooo another wait. Find out on 29th what the plan is. I'm hoping nothing more sinister is hiding. I've convinced myself that I'm losing both boobs. I'm sounding negative which isn't really like me. I'm just scared. Lots of emotions right now.

Ha ha. I admit I got sick of hearing the word positive. I felt exactly the same it’s horrendous all the waiting and although you try and keep busy it just keeps popping up in your mind. I couldn’t even concentrate on reading or watching tv I will be thinking about you hopefully Thursday will come quickly. For you xxx jackie

Thank you you all for your response and support. I'm just counting down my days until Saturday . The shock of finding a lump is now reducing . I have never posted on social media before, but so glad I plucked up the courage to do so. Thank you to you all will keep you posted with what is going on with me . Hope you are all ok too

Waiting is a nightmare for sure and distracting self with other things is easier said than done right! However, if we want any rest from worries it's the best thing to do! The truth is none of us know until the results are through. I must say though treatment nowadays is progressing all the time which is good news for us.
