Hi All,
I decided to do a Genetic test toady as my breast cancer is TNBC. I have to wait for result but I wonder how people cope with a positive result? I will find it very difficult as it affects my children and I can't bear it. If you share your experience, I would be very grateful. Xx
Hi Raf44
No words of wisdom from me I'm afraid as I didn't have a genetic test, but you might want to join this group (BRCA positive forum) if no-one from there is on this group at this time.
Kindest wishes, Lesley
I am also awaiting results of genetic tests. I don't have any children or younger relatives but I do have 2 older sisters. I've already spoken to one of them about the possibility and she was fine, grateful. My other sister.... I'll hold off until I know as she is a bit of a hypochondriac and would be demanding testing within 5 minutes.... XX
Sarah.... Keep looking forward
