I had breast cancer some 20 years ago resulting in a radical mastectomy, chemo and radiotherapy. Two years later I had reconstruction and reduction. I have been absolutely fine and apart from regular mammograms have no other treatment. The last two days I have had a strange itching/pins and needles sensation in my reconstructed 'breast'. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what course of action you took. Any help gratefully received...................
Hi Gizmosmum welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about whats happening for you right now.
This could be perfectly normal and could be entirely harmless but you know and I know that it is always best to get any new symptoms checked out by a medic. If this turns out to be nothing to worry about then great but at least you will have peace of mind so make that call and get an appointment with the GP.
xx
