I’m on day 3 after my first round of chemo with FEC-t. The top part of my body is painful from my head to my hips. Is this muscle pain? I can’t get comfortable, the pain is a worse behind my neck, paracetamol not helping. Anyone else experienced this?
Hey! Sorry to read you are in pain.....muscle aches are quite common....but I would call your breast care nurse or emergency number you will have given you just to check. They will be happy to advise....! I remember being in a lot of pain following my first T....I was so pleased I mentioned it to the nurses next time (on advice from those gorgeous people on here) they got me stronger painkillers and, boy, did it make a difference....fingers crossed you are feeling better very soon. I always thought of all those aches and pains as good signs that my cancer cells were being obliterated! Hot bath with some Epsom salts helped.....xx
Hi there
you know when healthcare asks you “on a scale of 1-10 please rate the pain”. I would put it at 12-13- but this was after the injection to boost bone marrow production after the chemo. Electric shockains in my back up to my neck going into my head. Resulted In having co-codamol & morphine. I was In the birthing position on all fours to try and manage the pain. Definitely contact your team to di
uss. Hope you get comfortable soon

Feel like I’d been run over by a bus! Managing pain with co-codamol and ibuprofen. Wasn’t expecting that!
