Hi everyone, wondering if any can offer any advice/experiences. I have a newly slit- like inverted nipple. From what I have read it looks to be duct ectasia but has anyone had breast cancer where the slightly inverted nipple *the tip* was slit like in appearance? The doctor gave me an antibiotic oinkment to use 2 weeks ago and is calling me back on Monday to see if it has gone...it hasn't
Hi Blossom2021 welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about whats happening for you.
Im glad that the GP is calling back and you need to be clear with them that you want this investigated further so either they examine you or they send you to the Breast Clinic where the expertise is to determine what this is or isn't and put your mind at rest.
I dont know what this could be it could be lots of different things but any changes in your breasts or appearance of the breast needs to be further investigated so insist on this when the GP calls and please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. xx
No sorry it went in from what I remember, I didn’t really check myself but then I seen it went in. Xx
