Hi
For those who have had dovetail, were you given anti sickness tablets/IV before hand? Just been told its not given and no sickness tablets to go home with....doesn't sound right to me!
Any advice appreciated as always

Hi
the docetaxel doesn’t really make you sick which is a relief. I’ve had a nurse give me an anti sickness tablet once before putting the docetaxel in me but that’s it. I’ve been fine without them a d it’s so much easier than the EC in terms of the nausea anyway so fingers crossed you’ll be fine xx
Hi Del, I had 2 FEC and 4 Docetaxol and each time I was given metoclopramide. Ended up in hospital on a drip 3 times out of the 6 doses. My oncologist eventually told me to take the anti sickness tablets every day between sessions rather than just a week after each session.
