Hi.
Looking for some advice please, I had my operation in October to remove my lump and they also took lymph nodes from under my arm. Over the last 2 weeks I've been experiencing pain in my back down the left side and discomfort under my armpit. Is this normal healing process? My consultant signed me off about 8 weeks ago so I've started doing light exercise but nothing to cause this pain. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Stat safe xx
Hi,
I had my surgery in February 2020. Lumpectomy to left breast and removal of lymph nodes. I Have the same pain as you're experiencing. It's hard because every pain you get you start worrying whether it's connected. In my experience I found that walking helped, just movement. In all fairness I did try rebounding, but I am still so fatigued I haven't used it! My bad! Not sure whether I have helped or not. But all I'll say is not to rush. I thought after a couple months I would be back to near normal! Now I realise everyone is different and a year on am still dealing with learning how to manage.
Keep Going!
Thank you for your reply that's helped with me overthinking things. I have been walking daily which helps. I let things get in my head and I panic. Hope you are keeping well.
Take care xx
