Hi
I dont really look at my feet, however my daughter noticed that my feet look really sore. When inspecting closer all the skin around my toes have become very dry and flaky it looks like the skin has gone yellow and nails are yellowish color also and very sore to touch.
Has anyone else had this? How long does it last? Is there anyone who can help me with my feet? I still have 12 more weekly chemo to go are they going to get worse?
Thank you
Hi JazzyJay1
I had a nightmare with my finger and toenails, I ended up losing most of my toenails six months after chemo finished, and my fingernails became infected and all lifted off my nail bed. My skin became extremely sore and cracked on my feet, and I developed blisters on my hands, so I empathise completely with you. I used some cream called udderly smooth and found that helped with my feet, I had some steroid cream for my hands and ended up on antibiotics for my fingers - so I would suggest telling the staff when you go for chemo and see if they can prescribe anything ?
My fingernails bothered me more than losing my hair ...

Oh I will I start paclitaxel on wednesday after 3 ECs. I will ask if there is anything they can give me they look awful and sore and my poor daughter is trying her hardest to be gentle with them. I'll look for that cream online now.
Thank you for your help x
