Hi, I’m a couple of years past the lumpectomy and auxiliary clearance, chemo and radiotherapy. No signs as yet of it coming back. 
. With my breasts now being lopsided, one normal and slightly saggy and the other tiny and pert with an inverted nipple which has sunk in even further than a year ago. I want some surgery to make them look better for me. So I can but a bra and not have one side near my waist and the other up near my ear.
the last time I broached this with my surgeon I came out of the room feeling terrible for even wanting to get them sorted. I’ve also found out that I still have surgical clips in my breast which I wasn’t told about.
I suppose my question would be what is the best option for sorting them out and will the surgical clips impede the operation?
When I was diagnosed my nipple became inverted which is one of the reasons why I found the cancer so early. It’s just as my breast has settled It became a little more inverted by about 3 mm. not moved in about six months. Last mammogram said it was clear. Not seen the consultant for about a year 1/2 now though, but want to get reconstruction before my 5 year period for private insurance runs out.
the lump was taken out above the nipple but the nipple was never pushed back out. Although how you’re supposed to check your breast for lumps with scar tissue and surgical clips still in there I do
t know. Oh well.
