Hi, Please can someone put my mind at ease, I have noticed today that when I lift my right arm my nipplle is ever so slightly indented and also my right breast is swollen, it is definitely bigger than the left, needless to say I am.now worried.
Hello! Sorry you are scared and panicking but unfortunately you know your need to see your GP. There are lots of reasons for changes on your breasts but you must get it checked out. When I was 40 I notice a swelling in armpit! For 2 weeks I worries about it then told my hubby. He could see it. Then I told one of my sisters , she came over and she could see it so following day I saw GP who said it looked fine but I insisted on referral. Two weeks later I had mammogram & ultrasound and given all clear as it was a fat pad. Then 11 years later recalled from first routine mammogram - I had no lump or any other breast change but I had early breast cancer which the removed .
So get yourself peace of mind and see GP tomorrow xx
Sounds good but if you are still concerned push for a referral and if you can afford it go private . I did and it was all ok but if I hadn't had check up then I would have continued to worry as from family history I am not always reassured by GP opinion.
