Hi,
Hope everyone is well. My mum has had her first dose of decetaxel on Monday after 3 cycles of EC and shes really anxious over what side effects she will get with this one. What side effects did people experience with docetaxel? At the moment she is suffering from bone pain - what analgesic regime worked for everyone else?
Thanks
Hi,
I suffered from bone pains after my third cycle of EC went to the doctors as paracetamol and ibuprofen didn’t work and they gave me Pregabalin and Naproxen and this worked the first one doesn’t work overnight takes time to get into your system where as the second one is a stronger version of ibuprofen which I only took as and when, saving them now for I am also starting four cycles of docetaxel every three weeks in a couple of weeks I am also anxious too but I know these tablets I have will help me if needs be.
Wishing your mum well and let us know how she gets on.
This discussion is now locked, but can be continued in the **JULY BREAST CANCER CHEMOTHERAPY CHAT**. Open questions will be moved into this discussion.
