But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Lovely part of the world, Northerner in spite of the winters!
I took a parcel to the post office this afternoon, some items for V. Cash Cow. Hope they do ok.
Caught the bus back as this morning was quite busy around home and garden. Planted runners beans, in pots as they germinate better really, and I can be sure of reasonable plants when they go out.

Don’t forget to rest as well as keeping busy moomy arrived home yesterday afternoon . One last load of washing left to do ,rest is on line hopefully to dry . Hairdresser just left so looking tidy again ……Off shopping to replenish cupboards now then feet up .
Looks as if I will be busy today, choir then lymphoma group and then looking after Henry for a couple of hours!
That will get him mentally ready for Saturday, haha! (And me too!)

I needed to buy some AdBlue too, so did that on the way to choir, then to the lymphoma group, then home to bring in the washing which I’d done early and put out to dry, and then daughter came with Henry who was absolutely delighted to see me. Then she left and son arrived, greeted as a totally long lost lovely person by Henry of course, he left something that daughter is borrowing, she will collect it when she collects Henry later this evening.
Henry is presently curled up on the sofa.
Daughter is at BBC 3 Counties Radio being interviewed about her single which the radio station have been playing regularly (even though it’s not yet formally released!)

So it was indeed a busy day, washing bedding and hanging it out, making up the beds (I sleep alternately in our twin beds so have both to do every couple of weeks or so) then I set some more pea seeds, watered the young plants in my garden room, checked out the garden, then got myself sorted for going out, picked up AdBlue on my way to choir, had lunch in the car park (one great facility having a moho!) and then off to the lymphoma group after that.
Left there a bit early to get the washing in before daughter arrived with Henry, looked after him while she drove off to get interviewed for BBC Introducing on 3 Counties radio, Henry and I had our dinners, then son popped in to leave something for daughter to collect… Then daughter returned and she and Henry went home. I feel positively breathless! Haha!
Tomorrow I’ve got the cleaning to do!

I mowed the lawn in a blip between showers, and also planted out the black-eyed-Susan (thunbergia) that I bought recently, put the tomato plants outside to harden off (didn’t do that before due to the chilly wind) and also potted on daughters tomato plants as they really were getting pot bound.
Also filled up the AdBlue in Goldie, having decanted a 10 litre bottle so it was only half full therefore not too heavy to hold.
now sat after lunch and debating how soon to do the cleaning!

Cleaning is done, phew! And I’ve also set calendula (marigold) and nasturtium seeds too.
Now sat down with a cuppa. Just heard that the conservative candidate got in here, if the Labour votes had gone to the second placed llib-dem he would have won, and he’s been active and caring around the area for a good few years, the conservative has never darkened a doorstep let alone done any community work which the lib-dem chap has! Gutted.

I began to feel achey and was coughing quite a bit, had a couple of inhaler puffs, checked sats which were all ok. I think it’s hay fever plus asthma not behaving as well as it might. And have just realised that yes, of course I ache, I’ve been busy and handled a 10 litre container of AdBlue! And yes, it IS heavy! But I’ve managed everything and am ready for Henry tomorrow morning. Just in case, I did a test but it’s negative.
