But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Got my 6th Covid jab on Tuesday coming, wonder which brand it will be…..(have had A-Z, Pfizer and Moderna this far)
Engineering day tomorrow at the museum. Expect there will be schools too, they do like to get in the room to use the Enigma machine.

Good luck with the booster. I hope it doesn't make you feel poorly. I hear it can make one feel rough. Were you OK with your previous boosters moomy?
I am worried not to have heard anything from Santababy since she was in hospital tge Saturday before last. I messaged her daily with updates of my holiday as she said she liked to read them. I am hoping she is home and comfortable.
Sending love and hugs Santababy xx ️
Getting a lot of trouble logging in and posting, I’ve sent emails with screenshots to Admin and they are checking it out.
I was fine with Pfizer Mag123 although a bit of a headache, ran a temp and felt rough with both Moderna ones but only for a few hours. Thankfully paracetamol did wonders.

Remains to be seen whether I still have to log in each and every time I want to post or not…..and whether a ‘log in’ stays for two posts…..
I think I was helpful at the museum today. The prototype Bombe (built a number of years before the ‘real’ rebuild but relatively recently powered up for visitors to operate) has been being worked on for a few weeks, now ready for careful testing by just the two of us trustees who have helped get it this far but are regular operators, to test, and report back. It really is interesting to have played a part in this, even if it was just instinctive fetching and carrying what I could see was needed, preparation, and holding the torch so that they could see in awkward corners. I think I earned my ‘technician’ badge!

So I typed a reply but on clicking to post it, the site informed me I was for moderating?! Did I hit the flag button at the same time? I don’t know!
spent a couple of hours gardening this morning but can’t do any more as I’ve run out of compost! I’ve used lawn product too (I realise now why my posts didn’t post!)
I potted on 6 tomato plants, and the thyme which was pot-bound. Still have thunbergia and rosemary plants to pot on. Plus 2 spare tomatoes (not sure whether I will keep them, to be honest) plus courgette babies once they get their first proper leaves.
Got a sore shoulder from the jab yesterday, limiting movement, will have to ensure it doesn’t create an ongoing problem

After all that gardening, I decided to get some old items down off a high shelf, sort the ones to throw, the ones for charity shop and just a very few to sell. (Lots of dust) and then re-organised a lot of CDs into empty spaces, which leaves me several more years of space for collecting the BBC Music magazine CDs! I really AM tired now!
