But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

I meant to say earlier that I didn't sleep well last night either. I kept waking up every hour and around 2.15 I was awake for an hour. I didn't have a night sweat and I can't think of any other reason why I was awake either. Obviously one of those nights!
Is Henry not a morning person moomy at least his walk sets him up for lunch.
Ive been waking very early ... 3/4 am. I sometimes put audiobook on which often sends me off again. The other morning I couldn’t get back to sleep, then felt very hungry so had my breakfast at 5. Very unusual for me. Hubby is away so could be that. I then find I snooze til about 8/9. A factor may be that I have watched TV later than usual ( I’m usually in bed at 10). After today I need a good sleep tonight ... fingers crossed.

No, Flossie25 Henry isn’t too energetic first thing, he likes to have a cuddle! If he doesn’t seem desperate for a wee, he often gets that before either of us get going!
At home he often gets a swift out in the garden then snuggles back with daughter for an hour or so. Then he bothers with breakfast after that!
I just hope tonight is better than last night, think he woke me around 3 times. We did both have an afternoon snooze, though.

I see oncologist this afternoon after CT scan last week, it seems my life is punctuated with appointments including audiology. I feel a bit nervous not sure why.

Hope you get good news from your scan Jayhay , good for you going off in the moho. At present mine is just hooked up on the drive. Did think of using it to get different dog walks but I suspect that would only be for my benefit as Henry gets loads of sniffs wherever we go!
last night he was better but I spent almost 2 hours lying awake! Why? Apart from a bit of a hot flush I don’t know! Afternoon nap for us both!
I’ve suddenly got sneezing fits….if it’s a cold then I’ve no idea where from?! The only person I’ve seen is yesterdays supermarket delivery. Tested just in case, negative.
