But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Thanks, Coheal , not totally convinced re Covid as I gather sneezing is common in fully vaxed people….but will see.
I had an early warning of super-slippery paths out there, tested in the garden when it was 0° and yes, very slippery. So as Henry is really good about waiting, we just went out after 10 for him to do all needed, paths were thawed, phew!
We are now busy doing nothing by the warm air vent! (Second coffee of the day!)

It’s so much less cold this evening, thank goodness!
Henry has had a mad 15 minutes play, charging the full length of the house with a squeaky toy and back, he’s zonked out in his bed now.
daughter has enjoyed having a daily photo or two, I think she’s missed him lots!

Zoom really didn’t work, which was a pity as they worked on the fugue which I am finding hard. But hey, conductor said he would revisit it.
went for a walk instead, then bathed Henry, he’s now gone right off me, sat on his favourite throw in a grumpy mood!

And Henry is almost home, he was SOOOOO excited to see them! They both look tired, neither really slept on the flight but both look and speak as though the holiday was a really great rest. In spite of factor 30, both are sun-kissed.
And there’s peace in the land (lunch without a certain doggy watching me!)
