Hey. Hoping everyone is as well as can be.
I had my last chemotherapy a week ago (4 paclitaxel then 4 EC which I have found hard, every 2 weeks).
I thought by now I’d feel ok and I do feel better (stopped being sick, no nausea today, can eat) but I’m exhausted after about an hour and a half and doing anything like mopping the floor is knackerng me. I can’t walk the dogs, my BP keeps dropping and I have passed out several times. I go on holiday in 5 days to Cornwall… so looking forward to it….. will I be back to normal??????
sending strength to you all xx
Hi
I finished my chemo end March (12 x paclitaxel). I actually continued to feel worse for the following 2 weeks, but then gradually regained my stamina.
Even now, I wouldn’t say I’m back to full strength but i feel pretty fabulous.
Be kind to yourself as much as is practicable. Initially i just aimed to get one thing ticked off my to do list each day and took it really east. I always tried to get out for a walk and I think that helped a lot.
Good luck,I’m sure you’ll soon be feeling stronger
