But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

I’m a bit achey round the hips but hope that will ease off overnight. A rest day tomorrow, but choir starts and hubs has a weather station (my Christmas present to him) to put up if the rain stops, I will need to help with that. The pole is already there, the previous weather station ‘died’ and this one is supposed to be a better quality one.

It looks too windy out there today for setting up the weather station but tomorrow’s forecast looks better.
having a lazy day, then, apart from lunchtime choir which I have missed last term. I realised that the cough which began in October has taken 3 months to go!!!!

Hi ,
no problem since I got back to yoga. By the way, do pop a bit of info into your profile, it helps those of us replying to know what stage of treatment you’re at; doesn’t have to be long, mine is a bit like war and peace as it refers to daughter as well as me!

Still got hip aches after the jogging on Wednesday, so although I will walk today, I won’t do an increase in jogging, but will still open the app and see what it suggests......
Lots to do today, it’s fine so might get some laundry done and out, I bought hubs a weather station for Christmas so will help him get that set up hopefully. And the last bits to go back in the loft are the box of wrapping paper plus the box of cards. And a bit of cleaning too.....
Hopefully will get some of that done!
