But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Uh-oh....it is now closing time and...here...comes...Scoogi (with her handbag)....(at the ready....)....
Maureece will have to go out the back way Violetsniff !xxxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Oh dear....now some (rather a lot)parcels are coming out of the upstairs window.....eeeeeeeek!!
By now,Maureece had had time “to think about it”...and was feeling really rather sorry....but then...women Guineas were so SENSITIVE....by now he started to think about his lovely Scoogi... and how her giggle was so sweet, her carrot pie was so delicious, and how her fur was soooo sleeeeeek....he awoke from his reverie, and Hatched A Plan.
he would peek over the fence at her in his Very Best Clothes.....
Scoogi,in her madness, was ,at that very moment, heaving a rather large present up over the window sill, when she suddenly caught sight of a rather Handsome Gentleman ,out of the tail of her black eye.
”Oh!”she gasped....!!!
and ...”Wait....is that...is that....?”
And she picked up the nearest heavy object, which was her weighing scales(she had secretly just been weighing herself)and threw them unceremoniuosly at the Handsome Gentleman.
She didn’t mean to hit him,for she knew it was Maureece.(just gently stun him)
Hi ladies.
moomy.... hope your feet are improving
seaspirit44..... have to say the cats round here like our garden... lots of bird life. We do find evidence of pigeons remains now and then and that’s upsetting enough without actually seeing it happen. I guess cats will be cats. Anyway the birds have lovely supply of suet balls which will be replenished tomorrow.
Ive had a few up and down days.. but... I’m feeling quite canny now. Enjoyed Wassailing Saturday night, Went out as soon as possible yesterday to shop ... obviously not soon enough ... out today and it was different again.... quiet. Must be saving energies for the sales I expect
Wishing everyone a Very Happy Christmas
hugs to all

“ The only constant thing in life is change “
Oh No!!!as soon as she had done it she was really rather sorry...and frightened....”OH !MAUREECE!!!” She cried...and ran downstairs two at a time, wobbling a little bit.
By the time she tumbled outside, she was caught short by a rather remarkable sight!!Maureec seemed to have taken leave of his senses and was leaping up and down at an extraordinary rate!!
He had found that fortunately Scoogi wasn’t such a good aim ....and the weighing machine had landed near to him only. The object of his passion was the said machine...springs and dials came shooting out of it at a great rate.
Then the object of Scoogi’s passion became Maureece...she was so sorry...
They clutched each other crying and laughing and Mareece protested that he didn’t mind at all he loved her in all her Scooginess...Then Scoogi cried and disappeared inside for a minute....then reappeared poste haste...”Oh Maureece Darling...I have thrown all of your presents out of the window!!!”
The voice was coming from inside some Cristmas wrapping,curiously....
Maureece looked at her lovingly, for there, before him, stood Scoogi, wrapped in Christmas warapping ,looking at him rather cutely and gigiggling.
”I can only give you Me for Christmas,Maureece “ she smiled prettily....”So.Here.I.Am”
And that was how Scoogi and Maureece got beyond their first Married Argument...and found that they loved one another Even More...The End xxxxHappy Christmas!!xx
