But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Looks lovely moomy Weather has been great here today. Had to be outside, soaking up a few rays, listening to the birds and making a racket with the lawnmower !! Going to be just as good tomorrow, maybe better.

Yes, today is just amazingFlossie25 I’m just at a site outside Knaresborough now, have done a washing load as it’s so lovely. That’s now drying in the sun and gentle breeze.
Had a late lunch and will head into town to see what the local supermarket is like (nearest is Lidl I think) though the site does have a small cafe and basic shop.
Mother Shiptons cave beckons tomorrow I think

I think Knaresborough came out as one of those “happy” places when they do surveys moomy You’ve got a good choice of places to visit. I finished off the mowing as our garden bins were emptied today. Hubby kept busy digging up the back corner again as he plans to use old bricks from wall to build a raised bed. I would have just made it into a wild flower area !!

I found a Tesco before the Lidl, did essential shopping and then grabbed a sandwich and found that the bus stop showed I had 15 minutes to wait for a bus back to the site gate, phew! That was welcome as I’ve now walked a bit over 5 miles.
Im a bit hungry but don’t know what I want, a funny stage to be in
