But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Second dose of Abemaciclib at 100 mg…..so far so good. (A good ‘dump’ but no D today)

Feeling the cold this winter, hope the bills arent going to be too big….(i have a few £ too much for pension credit.)

Thanks, Flossie25 , the effect started this morning, but I’ve eaten lots of veggies and fruit so possibly inevitable. Will take Loperamide. Thankfully I don’t feel unwell. At least, this far….
its still so cold out there.
Ordered a new printer, will collect it this morning. Hubs’ effect on printers was legendary (they just never lasted long) and it seems it’s continuing after he went! At least it’s not expensive….ink is the expense.

Thank you! I HATE my photos being taken, but decided I needed to take my mug to show the family! And have dared put it on here (but not on any social media!)
it’s such a worthwhile charity, helping patients focus on the best part of themselves rather than feeling ‘a cancer case’ and the companies who support it give their products free (and they are full size products) and we get to take the goody bag home!
