But not a very patient one!
I've at least got a diagnosis, it's invasive ductal cancer grade 2, but still small, oestrogen receptive but looks as if I might get away with the lymph nodes....and maybe not too much treatment afterwards?
Complex plan, but to begin with, a sentinel node (plus another one or so) removal as day surgery, (a nuclear medicine visit first to get 'the jab' for them to trace) then a gap while that, plus the HER result come back, then because of my previous surgeries for cysts and the fact one resulted in a massive haematoma, therefore scar tissue, I will have a complete mastectomy with an implant. That will be immediately after Easter.
By finding out as much as possible beforehand, the surgeon hopes to prevent too many operations. Obviously I will then need Tamoxifen or similar, so will appreciate helpful advice about that.
But I'd be interested on anyone's 'take' on her plan. I feel reassured that she took time with me, and the BC nurse afterwards spent a good while too.

Crumble sounds lovely. Will have a search. Still a bit of wind this evening but not as bad as last night.
Turkey curry was lovely and will be able to use it as a curry base - veg curry or chicken or even like a sauce with salmon I think - I like the Taming Twins website. Easy slow cooker is great with the children. In case you like a reas through recipes - https://www.tamingtwins.com
Plenty there for supper tommorrow and goodbye turkey after that!

I sent a bouquet of flowers to daughter and housemate as a thank you for hosting such a great time, I know they arrived as I got notified.
Just hope they liked them.
A cute photo of Henry sitting with his front paws crossed, probably hoping for a treat!
I’ve had a beautiful carved dragon wooden sculpture from my brother, carved in Bali, (brother travels all over the place!) apparently they specialise in dragons over there! (Hubs and I collected dragons, all to do with the mother-in-law - both of them)

Not sure how I feel, we have our son & grandson with us which is lovely, I feel so tired since Boxing Day…a lot of people here, and now not.
we watched Polar EXPRESS TONIGHT, LOVE IT! Also with others Candy Cane Lane with Eddie Murphy.
i went for a walk today when dry, then sat and painted some small snow scenes…. Usually feel better after that….
i get up and feel so achey !! Every morning it’s a slow walk down the stairs as my knees hurt, legs stiff, I feel so old!!
I had cramp for 2 days after a London trip last Saturday and some pain on left hip but not constant….and my left ankle has been aching off and on for a few weeks now, but not at a joint…
i find there is ‘something’ then it goes away….
CT scan on Sunday 7th!!,
sorry for moans….
Thanks for being there all…

Dear Jayhay Please don't apologise for moaning. If we can't moan here, where everyone understands, where can we?
I understand about the aching. I can't go shopping without stopping and sitting down every few minutes these days.
Having been ill over the past week with norovirus, I finally fancied the chicken strips we have in the freezer and have just found out someone has eaten them!! I am so disappointed I've sent my husband out to the fish and chip shop!!
Feel for you so much with the aches. Complain all you like, venting is good and if you do it here you have more chance to have positive time with those in person hopefully. I have burstis pain back in hip after a good 6 months after steroid injection, im turning on that side due to my mastectomy on the other, so just have to grin and bare it now most probably.
Had a good 1.5 hour walk today but my shoes were soooooo muddy - the path we chose wasn't fully finished, a new bit added through a field and piles of unspread stones were around. Whoops!
