Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Glad you are feeling like getting back to walking moomy
Gorgeous trees, especially the valentine one HappyFeet1
Wow, that sky Northerner just beautiful
Flossie25 so glad the new boiler is in and I can be confident we will be warm, the old one was getting rather iffy and was worrying me
so glad you have been out with the dog and that lane looks beautiful
So cold on my walk this morning only managed one photo my fingers were too cold for anymore, I’ve bought new leather gloves this afternoon to try and keep warm.
This was once a windmill that had been converted to a home and had the sails removed
Love and warms hugs to all xxxx
Hi walkers all,
I'm happy to get out and about for a walk any time! It's just that the virus rate around here was so high and climbing so fast plus far too many dog walkers all day and every day around here, I simply didn't feel safe - plus hubs is vulnerable (as yet not fully diagnosed but its kidney cancer) and physically disabled with spinal arthritis, I simply couldn't risk catching/bringing the virus home.
So home based exercise it had to be. At least I am keeping it up daily!
Hugs xxx

Santababymy fingers were so cold yesterday, too,on my walk. They felt cold even with gloves on.I am sure the temp round here was in the minuses.
The seagulls were resting, thing about skating on ice.
Also a piccie of a swan with two heads....hang on....sorry I have to go to my phone in order to download as it and my iPad aren’t communicating xxx
Hahaha, one swan, two heads and two shadows, well done Violetsniff!

Great swan photo Violetsniff!! Walking with friend later so hopefully some photos then. Very cold here too! moomy I hope you’ll be able to get out more when the vaccine rollout has gone further and cases are lower. You’re a great example though of keeping fit even if you’re restricted to indoor exercises! Cases are definitely coming down so fingers crossed that continues and things can ease a bit at some point. If you were able to get out and about in your motor home you could probably find much quieter places to walk. I think it’s Northerner who says her caravan site area feels much safer than where she lives in terms of outdoor spaces. Xx
Hi all not been far this morning been to get bloods done then quick walk before going back to hospital for heartscan . Yes I do feel safer at caravan HappyFeet1 but think I'm luckier than moomy as there are quiet places to walk locally

Right of to put washer on with hospital clothes ,already had my shower
Hi everyone- been for a walk around the estate with daughter and her new puppy , retriever /poodle cross. He' s had his jabs and now cleared to go out in the big world ! Very cold wind but he was totally not bothered and enjoyed himself exploring all the new smells and sniffing at various plants etc. Didn't take my phone so no pictures ,sorry. We both wore masks and were socially distanced of course. Love everyones pictures . xx Kwissy
Ooooh, photo of puppy please?
Done my vigorous exercise, also as it’s been fine and windy, I ‘put the flags out’ ie the washing, and it’s all well blown, not necessarily that dry but will smell so fresh when I bring it in!
and yes, as numbers are going down round here I feel a bit happier. However I have to stay well as hubs has a test and procedure coming up, it’s his scan with contrast, they’ve booked a Covid test 3 days prior.

Here are my photos from late afternoon walk with friend. Trees and more trees! There’s a theme here! Very cold but was well wrapped up. Nose bleed halfway was a bit inconvenient but luckily I always have lots of tissues! Love to all, HFxx
