Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Lovely pics everyone glad you are all getting out and about to such nice places. I was amazed the other day when I saw mushrooms in the garden which definitely weren’t there the day before! A friend and I are going for a walk later so will keep an eye out for more. They seem to pop up so quickly out of nowhere.
Hope the sun is shining with you.
Ooo!Squeeee!have just seen the tree one with the teeny ladders in,too!!!Northernerxxx
lovely toadstool....there seems to be a lot of nature thriving...possibly due to not so many humans about xx
Three and three-quarter miles walked this afternoon, it feels so good to have got some exercise, but so many people are inconsiderate as to 2 meters.

Met a friend for walk and coffee today, beautiful weather with blue skies and sunshine. Will try to post a photo of more funghi as well as cows in the meadow. Love to all, HFxx

Sounds like you’re well back into walking moomy, hope you’re finding paths less busy now the weather is more ‘normal’. In Suffolk for a week so managing some coastal walks which I love. Haven’t braved the sea yet! Canoeing in estuary tomorrow (well on rather than in I hope!). Will try to post a couple of photos. I love the dead tree ‘sculpture’ Love to all, HFxx

I still feel at risk due to others not observing SD, to be honest, having to dive into long grass on my way home as 2 young women walked towards me ignoring the fact they’d come within 2 metres. Grrrrr!

Well,I Hope none of these young people go into Nursing or Medicine. It seems the trendy thing to want to do is to become a Doctor with these young people...goodness they have no idea that becoming a Doctor involves far far more than fancy letters after your name!!as I am sure will testify.
It involves care for others, respect, compassion and maturity.
Hey Ho.
Rant over !
Great pictures,...I love sculptured trees too.My sister has a Monkey Puzzle Tree which I keep gazing at...it is so artistic, just standing there, and not even trying!
If I go and stay I love going round her garden photographing unusual things.Am like an Alice In Wonderland there!
Anyway, getting back to Walking Back to Happiness....well,am still going to Charity shops to buy things I can launder and transform into clothes for the orphans.I saw a pic of them today and their clothes are just hanging off them!Poor things.Am lucky enough to have some one in England collecting and sending out and also bandages and medicine.
sorry am going on a bit....
