Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Eeellllloooo reprobates..
Sorry iv not been about. I have been busy all week.
We have been out though me n lad, everyday infact.
Today me and me muker went for a walk and coffee and cake. Well my muker dont miss a trick, and this fella didn't pick the mess his dog left behind , she set off lovlely and polite. I had taken me hat off as I was sweating , did I mention I'v shaved me wood ? There you are, have I mentioned that she is a kararte expert, there you are, she is built like a gable end and is very polite and soft spoken, full of tattoo's and peircings.
Well iv not laughed like that since we went Benidorm. He set of this fella giving it loads, name calling the lot. All my mucker kept saying "o i yeh"
Well long story short, he ended up sat in it. I laughed so much I was crying.
We got to cafe , she had just calmed down , and this oik called us dutty lesbians. "Why do you say that, not that it should be a problem, you uneducated oik" . He set off with this tirade of abuse. Long story short, cappucino hair wash.
Laugh it was great. I dropped her off she states " same time next week.

Hey, walking folk all,
We have sun! Not too sure, it might have been sun salutation in yoga this morning that helped, it's been so grey this last week (as well as white!) that it's wonderful to see it. Walked carefully up to yoga and carefully back too, there are still patches of snow/ice where there were drifts.
Yoga was great and it energises me, I immediately whisked round the bathroom with Dettol wipes and stripped the bed to put washing on! Yes I know it's late for that, but yoga is 9.30 to 10.45!
Hugs to all who need them (but I guess you're all out walking!) xxx

Hi All
Added an hour's walk into my trip to the shops. I am enjoying the opportunity to be nosey and to get to know where I live. Lovely to see who is having building works done. All those years of driving to work, driving hither and thither.
Tai Chi for me moomy and meditation app. Used to be yoga.
Have a lovely walk today whether it is 10,100,1000 steps.

On my return from town (1 mile each way) the weeping willow is 'greening up' ready to burst into life, and there were so many birds singing their socks off!

Going out in 5 mins with lad. Now hes been a propper torment all day. I think he suffers with, is it s.a.d syndrome.
We have been out most of day, and as soon as it started getting dark, he started mopping about.
So we shall see what he is like on this walk. I think its possible,
after all he is a real boy.
Hope your all well ,

When you are 100% please could you write a dictionary of Mrsox Terms. I'll buy a copy. A bit like Mrs Beeton or Mary Berry please. Pretty pics essential.
Tee hee
I tell you what you would pee yourself watching us lot. We get the tune right and the moves c****** up or the moves right and the tune like a row of cats. It is such fun. Our poor, young, attractive choir leader (you'd poke her eyes out but she's a darling) is a saint. She just hoots with laughter and puts her head in her hands
Right sleep evading me but sleep I must
