Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Cute puppy Cheeboe, how old? Of course you don’t get far, they have to sniff their wee-mails or doggy Facebook!

Well done for braving yoga with dodgy tum moomy! And on that note wouldn’t the dog version of Facebook be Bumbook? As that seems the end they’re generally most interested in??!! Hate to imagine the ‘posts’ though.... xx
Hahahaha! Bum book is very funny!
tum is fine, thank goodness! It was a really sudden attack, think (hope) it’s gone!

Moomy
Wee-mail and bumbook . He is a 10 month old Shih-tzu. We got him about 6 months before my diagnosis and I'm so glad we did. My daughter was desperate for a dog and don't think we would have got him after I was diagnose
but he does cheer us all up massively
He’s very cute Cheeboe! The great thing about dogs is that somehow they’re always cheerful, and they do need to get out.
Walked in full daylight today, hooray, on another part of the heath, passed this egg sculpture. Think you might like it Violetsniff? Then patted a friendly horse on the way back (hope photos post...) Love to all, HFxx
Ooo,thanks,HappyFeet1...yes I DO like the egg.Very tactile and I love the shape.Love your horses long face too,and want to stroke him!
lovely photos of spring everyone...how pretty.I saw my first snowdrops yesterday(yes,I dont get out much)have been abed with horrid coldy thing.
Have been keeping my germs to myself..so missed out a bit, having to cancel things...
However, made myself go out most days for a little walk and kept bumping into people I knew!I always said when I had to give up my car, when you walk everywhere you meet so many more people!
I have been reading avidly and the girls in the library know my face now,and are so nice.
i have discovered an app at the library where you can borrow books on line, which is just fab to listen to when your eyes are sore,or on a long journey by pub transport.(public transport-not pub transport!)
Xxxx
Hi lasses ... loving the pics of the beach, egg sculpture, horse, dog, butterfly and friend, and everything else. Hope you are on the mend moomy Northerner Violetsniff.
I'm still plugging away at yoga, walking (although could be better) and topping up with wiifit. I’m so looking forward to nice warm sunny weather
Xx

I have not been on this thread for ages - don’t really know why. - so have really loved catching up and seeing all the lovely photos. My turn to post today - a photo of my walking partner this pm when my son comes round to take his old mum out for a tootle.
Meet Leiko, my son’s 9 month old Samoyede (Russian something or other). He is one big fluffball and loads of fun.
