Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Beautiful, MargaretNortherner!
2.7 miles walked so far today, much of that round the shopping centre where I picked up a couple of pressies for hubs (he has 2 big ones he knows about, these are ones he doesn’t know about!)

The houses on the right have just been finally repaired after yet again being flooded in 2015 for about He third time since 2009 .
the bridge was also swept away in 2015 . They are in the process of building new bridge now ,which is what we went to view yesterday .
A lovely village but taken so long to recover such a shame .

I remember that flooding, awful. My home village (in Warwickshire) had bad floods one year and I helped sweep the stinking mud from the houses, it took an age before they were habitable again. Flooding is just devastating.

What lovely pictures, we are doing well with the sunshine!
Had a lovely walk today it was a tonic. Also, I went to see Adam Ant last night, he was amazing! I fell in love with him about 40 years ago!
So I’ve been away for a while due to bad side effects from my second chemo, but today I managed to get out for a walk around my village for an hour ( which is amazing as I’ve been bed bound for five days). Such a lovely crisp day here .. not too cold either. So I’m hoping for a little run tomorrow perhaps .. will see. I know we’re on for about 12 degrees at the weekend so need to get out into the garden to pick up all those pesky leaves.

Lovely pics, Di! ,
hope you manage to feel ready for a run, but don’t get cross with yourself if you don’t, just take it easy on yourself! Go with the flow.....

Well today I was doing a bit of polishing to help someone out....a sitty-down job!!(bit jammy but necessary)
Anyway...I keep thinking back to it all day.I was given “my job” and I set to work, and spent half the time again, buffing it up....since it was my job...it had to be good!!but it was everso therapeutic, and the silence and peacefulness was so lovely.Want to go back again tomorrow!!
then when I came out I walked round a little and took some photos. The mist hadn’t cleared yet and the sun was streaking through it.Some bits were incredibly beautiful!Anyway will try my best to put a photo or two on here....hang on....
sorry my squirrel seems to be falling sideways...
Violetsniff he was Antastic!! He was amazing given he’s 65. He did nearly 2 hours and was dancing about like a youngster!
Had a short walk yesterday as it was dull and drizzly, today I got out for a bike ride which was ace. Haven’t been for a while.
