Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Great pics, I think going for a scenic drive is a great activity, especially when there’s a risk of rain! We had a few wet days in the Lake District last month and I was very happy to spend time in the warm dry car stopping for lunch and coffee as and when.
had a nice walk this afternoon by the river
No exactly cloudbursts, Dreamthief, just once some heavy rain, showers really, big enough distance between to allow of a bit of work out there....

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Lovely sunny morning, went to local park. Our little town has a scarecrow competition in September. Great to see them all, shops, businesses, and parks. Will try to post .....

Morning
I doubt I'll be walking anywhere today it'd chucking it down here. Treatment number 12 today. Hubby taking me, he can't get out in the garden today, so he'd be kicking his heels a bit. Boob is a bit pink. Feel OK apart from letrozole pain.
Tonight I'm out for tea, Nandos, then to see Downton.I'm going with daughter in law. So I need to call and get some wine gums so I'm not bankrupt by pick and mix.
I hope all goes well appointment wise.
This time next year we will be floating around Europe too.
Morning! (Won’t say ‘good’ as it’s dark and wet here too) hubs is back to his volunteering today so I’m staying home to do the cleaning and then it’s yoga tonight, hope my knee copes (have had a painful right knee for a few weeks)
