Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.

about those ticket machines, I book with an e-ticket to my mobile phone, it’s easy and doesn’t waste any paper!

Another glorious sunny day with equally glori ous swims. Got stung on the arm by the only jellyfish in the bay!! Fortunately the rash was minimal
Have perfected my technique for getting out after a swim by levering myself up using handholds on the wall. Muscle memory from rock c.imbing 50 years ago !
Building work started during our holiday, and the builder sent us sone pics. Great progress, but we are very pleased to miss the pike drivers and the excavated soil in the drive and front garden! Xxxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Grrr pile drivers, visions of huge fish!

I’ve been to Antiques Roadshow at Battle Abbey! Lovely day and a lot of steps, I took a few bits but couldn’t be doing with the queues!
Seaspirit I hope your sting is OK
Ouch, Seaspirit! Hope that jellyfish sting eases off very fast, I remember as a child, a summer holiday spent in Anglesey when on our last day Benllech beach was covered in jellyfish! I took a wide berth.....
Had yoga tonight which actually helped the aches in my back. Hope it continues, we have one final session next week and a worksheet to come for the summer break, and I will try to do some!
