Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
It’s stunning up there, isn’t it, AnnJac?
Enjoy your days there, and we hope to see lots of pics soon

Glad you are enjoying London . Did you see any parrots in Hyde Park? Sounds daft I know, but DH was in London over the w/e and came across a flock,of feral, parrots in Hyde Park, being fed by a local man. Enjoy your garden party! xxxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Ooooh, AnnJac, it’s tomorrow isn’t it? Enjoy!

Hello ladies, this thread is so uplifting - even with you taking a tumble , I am sorry to read this and hope you didn't hurt yourself too much. The photos are amazing and the amount you have fitted in as made me tired just reading your post. You have done such a lot, I am sure you will get a good nights sleep ready for your wonderful day tomorrow. Totally agree with HappyFeet1 'this is your day' you want a taxi, you have a taxi - totally spoil yourself, on this very, very special occasion.
I have never looked at 'nordic walking' - I did read about the sticks though and they sounded really good, now after reading about the walking I'm going to have a google to see if there are any classes near me - sounds very interesting.
seaspirit44, I love, love, love swans especial when I see them flying and hear the whooshing of their wings - it mesmerises me. Imagine me thrill today, I had only nipped out into the back garden (to make sure my cat was not disturbing any of the young robins), well, I could not of time it any better, I could hear that 'whooshing' sound, I looked up and to my surprise it was not one or two or even three swans flying overhead, it was 'five'.... five swans!!! it was a lovely, if only I'd had my phone with me, I could of phoned haha - I could of taken a photo (here's my silly head now... whilst looking at the '5' swans flying over, it made me think of my family, we were a family of five).
Owww I just deleted all this arrrghhh, then googled and found out how to get it back - few that's all I'll say
Wishing you all a good nights sleep and a wonderful Tuesday to you all.
Extra special for a certain lovely lady - enjoy your day xxxxx
