Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
Morning WhatHappened
Sorry about the being awake so middleofthenight - hope you got some.good sleep eventually. I think that the variation in how the hill goes is totally normal; my sporty friends say that running is like that: thw same challenge can feel totally different on different days. Apparently it can be related to water and sleep - ie whether you are hydrated or dehydrated from more cups of tea than glasses of water!
Meeting a friend for a walk and coffee today. No sun forecast up here for today but at least it doesnt look like it will be too cold. Good luck for a good day. Hope the hill is kind!
Now look what happened yesterday!!! Wooo hooo. So today take it easy . Tomorrow walk again.
Today I’ll be sat in a car allllllllllllll day. Driving to Ayr with hubby and youngest daughter for 4-6 days. Brrrrrrr. Illl still be around just not as much. So hoping for a seaside blow the cobwebs walk and maybe even Arron.
So bum shift time and see you all in Ayr
Gentle hugs and positive thoughts
Leolady56 - now how do you catch a haggis????????
Morning All.
No walks for me yesterday or today. Travelled 80 miles to see my 92 year old Mum for a couple of days. Staying over at my son and daughter in laws so the wonderful bonus of seeing them and my 1 year old Grandson who is a delight. Then probably won't get much time on Friday as I have my pre op assessment. But I may be able to fit something in. So - big push at weekend needed.
Happy walking everyone else - no matter how long, how short, up hill, or downhill, in the country, through the town - all good.
WhatHappened...what an absolute Star you are!!!!
that has to be the post of the week.....for me
Another little thing which helped me,was giving myself a little reward after so long.....it is tempting to think,”Oh,well,I won’t”but you should...and it makes it more fun ....xxx
My walk today was to the local shops for cold/flu supplies! Ah well.......

Hello all - I remembered to take some photos today on the dog walk! (The older one didn't want to come out very far today, so I took him home and came out again with the puppy for a longer one.)
Now got to do some vacuuming so I can put down some more anti-flea spray ... sigh .., then dentists to have a filling replaced. Another fun day!
love
