Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.

Great pics, ladies!
My walk today was from the bus in London’s Camden Town up to Camden Garden, I got off the bus too early by mistake, but found my way to the mews house my brother and sis in law had rented for a couple of weeks (they live in Texas), spent a few hours with them, worked out I hadn’t seen my big brother for around 6 years, my nephew was there too (their eldest son who luves in Singapore) and they had literally bumped into each other, he had a flight out to Hong Kong cancelled and needed to spend an extra couple of days in London! Great to see them all and we had quite an exchange of news.
then back home with a couple of extra short walks....

Morning!
Lovely pics of wildlife & weather. Me and the dog had a very wet windy walk yesterday, I didn’t mind it all it was actually quite refreshing for a change.
Even so I’m looking forward to the return of the sun later...
The pic is of the only splash of colour from yesterday’s walk.
Have a good day
Morning, all!
because we’ve been watering the garden round the edges of it, the lawn needed mowing this morning, so walking this morning was using the mower!
Haha!
