Well. Welcome to this thread.
You may be surprised why it is here or happy it is here. Then again: ‘You have got to be joking! Do you know what is wrong with me?’ may be your response.
This all began on the Extreme Fatigue thread. On there several people wanted and needed inspiration/incentive to get out and walk. Many people see the benefits of it in their life and to help on this; mad journey, train ride, rollercoaster ride and other positively rude words journey called Breast Cancer.
It is not a thread created to make anyone feel less than they do at present. It is not a thread that will set people against one another. Being competitive with yourself or a simple challenge to yourself is the point, but not a race against others is a key premis.
The idea is that you can do any of these or none:
Well here goes.
Either it will grow and blossom, with lots of lovely people benefiting. Or I will have egg all over my face – not for the first time in my chequered life and career.
Leolady – may be adding in the odd gallop to my walks.
PS if you don't like us don't be cruel.
moomy we were at their flagship store in Windermere next to railway station . So big !!! Spent a happy time going around saying what is that I’m sure I need it Managed to get the eco products I needed for the caravan .
Dexter loves it now cos he is allowed in and gets spoiled by everyone .
packing up today and going home. I need to change the bedding as daughter coming to Caravan with two friends over coronation weekend . They meet up about twice a year travelling to a central point but since getting older prefer caravan to city break
I’ve been here two weeks this time so lots of laundry to do once at home .
That store is just stunning, I bet you spent quite a while in there, Northerner ? Glad Dexter is allowed in too! Did you succumb to their cafe too? The old store was good but the new one? Fab!
Hugs xxx

Wonderful skies Northerner , such beautiful surroundings at your caravan!
Flossie25 the sea looked so inviting! And well done for all the walking despite your aches and pains.
Hope your eye heals quickly Mag123 , glad it’s been seen and assessed. We need to preserve all the faculties we can!
Have had some lovely walks in past few days, walked with my nephew on Sunday on one of my favourite ‘to next town and back’ routes, past some very cute young cows. Then long walk yesterday with best friend, another familiar route with banks of wild garlic and bluebells in the woods. Nordic walk this morning but no photos from that. Nice ending at local cafe! Love to all, HFxx

Forgot this fab tree! I’m sure it could tell some tales. And would love to know who lives in the many nooks and crannies xx
@HappyFeet1….
gorgeous and clear photos of the flowers beneath the trees.and Who Lives In A Place Like This ,tree!!I once wrote a story for creative writing group about a man sitting under a tree like than when all of a sudden he heard a tap tap tapping. When he opened the tiny door it was a grinning troll…..I think it was a bit dark for my polite society Creative Writing group.
However I did make them laugh with a different story.
Northerner that washing will whittle down,do a little bit at a time and the weather is good for drying on line….
i spied a Pink Post Box!!Anybody guess where ??xx
Gorgeous photos Happyfeet.
There is a tree with a door in at Hampton Court Gardens. It doesn't go anywhere but always makes me imagine great fairy tales whenever I see it.
My eye is twitching now which probably means it is healing but it does feel a bit odd.
No walking today. I did have a visit to tge dentist though. Drilling without anaestgetic as my dentist was confident there was no nerve nearby. Then that horrible gloomy stuff to make an impression. My lovely new tooth should be ready next week!

Hi,
This is my motivation to keep walking, my daughter managed to catch the only moment she was still on our walk today!
I've only just been diagnosed so still physically ok, but mentally and emotionally all over the place. Walking this little beast is my therapy at the moment, especially in the beautiful bluebell woods.
