     - I'm not surprised you feel anxious about a few things - you've had an awful lot on your plate and it is completely understandable that it's turned you upside down a bit!

You could ask I suppose, but you may find that their hands are tied re: catchment areas - in case you need a home visit or something.

I'm not sure if it the same in Wales, but I think you can choose to be under the same hospital for your treatment - patient choice and all that! You could always ask - that would be a real pain, and it's not as if you are moving to the other end of the country!

When I was working with one particular regional medical team, we had patients who did move 100s of miles away but still chose to continue their care with the team by agreeing to travel to their appointments...

    Hugs to you!

  • Wombat23, hope it goes through on Friday, fingers crossed.

  • Hi all, I am absolutely flaming! But before I 'go off on one' I want to say!

, that is FANBLOODYTASTIC news! Yayyyyyy for you xx

thats CR@P I know how hard it is to change GP's and hospitals. It's not great repeating everything and getting to know new Doc's. Plus learning to trust them and their judgement.

Great to see you back. I've missed you. I think to celebrate and to take my mind off things. Tonight's topic should be bunnys!!!

Okay, so why am I feeling ANGRY, PI$$ED OFF and just down right ANNOYED!

Well it might be because my boss seems to think that her Horse Riding lesson is more important than my CT Scan results! Yes you read correctly. Let me explain.

I asked for tomorrow off weeks ago, but was told as Dad boss was away and she was busy she really needed me in. So I said well once I have pulled myself together, as Good news or Bad it's always emotional, I will carry on to work.

Tonight before I leave she says, no problem about tomorrow so long as I'm in by 2.30! BECAUSE she has a riding lesson??? EXCUSE ME!!! REALLY!!!! I left in a complete daze wondering if I had just heard correctly!!

So am I being unreasonable in being angry! Does a horse riding lesson really take priority over a CT Scan showing Cancer??

I have calmed down now, just feeling tearful and a tiny bit worried about tomorrow. Although I feel 99% sure it's going to be Stable again! I don't worry about improvement, although that would be great. I settle for StableMable!! Xxxx

     - FFS! That's almost all I can say, and I'm not usually one who is stuck for words.

All I can say is that your boss fits the general description of a

I can provide a translation if it is needed! My favourite word for stupid, ignorant and rude people...

  • Of course you are angry, LondonLass, how selfish and uncaring she is, no compassion whatsoever! Kane's you feel she does not value you at all, or even think of you as a person!!! So sorry you have this to contend with on top of everything else.

Do you get results by phone or are you going in? Does it mean you will have to wait even longer to get results? Absolute crÂŁp!!

    Big hugs and good luckxxxxx

That is just so awful, the selfish, self centred

  • - that is brilliant!! The pictograph, not the changing GP!!

Cathy's response is mild compared with what I'm thinking. I'm also thinking - do you really need this? Hopefully it's a one off.

good to have you back!! And I hope everything goes smoothly for you!!
