seaspirit44 - wonderful news - hope you do something to celebrate!
wombat.23 - welcome back to the fray! Fingers crossed that all goes planned this week and that you can get on with life in the way that you want to! xx
Poop - just been to the GP surgery to ask for a phone call with my wonderful GP, who has been a massive support to me since I was first diagnosed in 2013 and even gave me her email address so that I could update her on things, has left the practice...
Having a great GP makes a huge difference in how easy it is to handle what's going on in this great journey of ours, so this is a sad day...
Bugger ,
I know how you feel. When I move, it is a different area so will have to register with a new GP. Makes me feel quite anxious.

That's even worse wombat.23! At least I know most of the GPs in the surgery and they are aware of my health problems (I am apparently a blue flag patient which means I get priority treatment e.g. same day appointments!)
I would hate to have to go to a new surgery and start all over again! I know your records follow you around, but you still have to explain everything again. I'm not surprised you're anxious!
How far away are you moving?
seaspirit44 wonderful news congratulations:-) xx Judith
Great news Seaspirit!!!!
Bad news Weeblemum. I lost my GP about 6 months ago and while he recommended a great doc to take over, it's just not the same. The old one knew my story - he was the person who diagnosed me initially and then saved my life during chemo by recognising I had pulmonary embolisms, along with all the other stuff on the BC trip. I like to think of it as fate though - he was there when I needed him and now I don't.
And Londonlass - I'm so sorry you're having scanxiety but it was inevitable I guess. We'll all be crossing fingers and toes for a good outcome. Lots of love to you.
Hi ,
It is only 8 miles away as the crow flies, 13 miles by road. But when we were at the holiday cottage, the GP surgery sent a letter to my OH saying if we were out of the catchment area, we would have to register somewhere else. I think it is up to the individual surgery and I think it is different in Wales.
I might ask nicely if I can stay on at that practice as it is near to where I work. But my other half also has regular prescriptions and he will need a surgery he can walk to ideally so maybe we should all move to new practice??? And then the new address is in another hospital area too....
Don't know if it is the letrozole, but I do feel quite anxious about a few things actually!
Cwtches,

that’s a pain. I know how you feel, when I had my first diagnosis my wonderful GP was my rock as my ex and I had split up at that time and I felt so alone.
She recommended the GP practice I’m with now ( brilliant) before she left for a new job in London.
I have had three exceptional GPs and know that a good one can make all the difference! Judith xx
