toxophilite you're like superwoman doing all that xxx
toxophilite If anyone gives you any nonsense this weather here’s a virtual assistant :-) xxx
LondonLass, Mrsox and everyone - lucky pants willed me into that room and all going ahead. The port was so much easier than nurses rummaging around for veins. I will dig deep and find the courage you all have and it is wonderful to have the support here from people who truly understand.Â
Well done Annie!
Keep warm, hugs,Seaspirit xxxx

Snowys Mum not superwoman, just sheer bloody-minded stubbornness!!
keep them coming!!
- well done you!! Now take it easy and be kind to yourself.
Finally made it home again @ 17.45. only a 13 hour day then. Got them to cancel/re-arrange my first job in the morning so I can have a lie in. Well, sort of. I have to go visit the vampires and give away loads of vials of blood in the morning. It's fasted, so they are going to turn me into a pincushion looking for veins.
LondonLass you made it - Wednesday is done, happy weekend to you.

Just had a lovely time catching up with the posts!
, I really feel for you, but as Sal says, you just have to remember that however poorly it makes you feel, the cancer will feel worse! I tried so hard to not think about how poorly I would be and more often than not, I actually didn't mind being there. The nurses and my chemo buddies were all so lovely, that it actually made it fun sometimes! I really feel for you and though, plus any others on chemo at the moment, as it is such a rough journey. I had never, ever felt so ill and hope to God that I never have to go through it again. We are all here for you though and wish we could do more. Xxx
, good luck on Friday and Tuesday! We all know that the waiting is the hardest, so if you need to talk, we are all here. Xxx
toxophilite, You must be shattered! I can't believe you do a full day's work after being on call all night! If I have to work late, I start late the next day to make up for it. That is apart from in July, when it is 12-16 hour days, every day, even weekends! It is worth it though, as I barely do a thing in August, lol! Xxx
Oh well, a full roast beef dinner is on the go, so I suppose I should get the veggies and mash on! Yum! Xxx

None of us wanted to be in this group, but we are glad we're not alone.
Diagnosis 2/8/17 IDC Her2+, 22mm, with spread to several lymph nodes. TCHP chemo started 23/8/17, Mx with immediate, temp recon 24/1/18, rads 20/3 to 10/4/18, Herceptin by IV until Nov 18. RR Mx Jan 23. Still waiting for reconstruction, but opting for simple implants, as opposed to Diep, due to long waiting lists for diep.
seaspirit44, L.P will be with you on Friday, I have written in his diary! Xx
