  • Hi  it’s called ‘Happinose’ and has some menthol in it, you put a small amount carefully into each nostril, allow it to soften and then sniff it in. I’m not sure whether it’s helped but fingers crossed I haven’t had a nose bleed since January 6th. They also said you could use Vaseline the same way but Happinose is a bit softer so easier to manipulate. and yes, -an over the counter purchase.

  • Well, another ‘update’ from FB/Meta popped up. Feel as though I’m held over a barrel by the powers that be. I’ll stop moaning.
Hope everyone is doing as ok as they possibly can. I see there’s a lot of rain on the way.

  • Good morning....

I am sitting watching the UK early news. I do hope you have all kept dry but I fear some of you do live in the flooded areas so please stay safe.

At present we have missed both the flooding.....to the north of us ....and the tornado that caused tremendous damage destroying complete hamlets....close but to the south of us. I know it wasn't ' lucky' OH was ill and brought us home from holiday early but we were lucky because we travelled in a 'weather window'....( I hate that expression) and had sunshine and dry roads. The route has since had snow, (Salamanca) torrential rain and hail,  (Pyrenees) and the Tornado and very strong gales (Bordeaux.)

Take care all. I am thinking about you.

  • Glad you had a safe trip home and that OH is being looked after. Hope he is better soon. We had lots of rain and a frost overnight but seemed to have missed the bulk it was very much in the south. Sending hugs x
