Oh My Goodness the FRUSTRATION when you take the time to write a long message to someone and then get a silly orange message pop up saying something about the message being seen by moderators before being posted AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHH soooooooooo frustrating!!!!
So Mag123 you might eventually get to read it, but who knows??? Sal xx
Hello all. I can post now as the Internet is fixed hooray! Hub went offline mon but we were away until New years eve and the 4g in the area is dire. New hub but that means new password so now have to reconnect devices.
Mag123 not sure if this is tagging properly but sorry to hear work woes. It can be soul destroying and take its toll on you when it doesn't work out. Don't get me started on how discriminating their behaviour is. But it's new job, New Year and onwards and upwards. Hope the ankle heals quickly.
Nice to see some of the ones I remember posting as well. I won't tag as its doing the long name thing! Done a shop and washing, quiet weekend before work on Monday. Hugs to all x
Mag123 I am sorry I didn't read your message. I am away and only have a small phone screen so it was back a page. I popped on with New Year wishes for everyone though, new and old posters so perhaps you might have felt included.
It's funny. I was actually thinking about you last week along with one or two other names who disappeared unexpectedly. I know sometimes it's the right time to stop chatting but it is helpful when people say ' goodbye.' I thought you were probably just busy working again so I was wondering how your new job had been going. I didn't see your post until I looked back when I read your disappointment that we had ignored you. Gosh ..you have continued to have a rough time. All those hours worked and unappreciated. You must have been physically exhausted before the ankle sprain then the new job not materialising......how disappointing.
So, as LondonLass says we now have a new year. Obviously you won't find anything better for a week or two but please don't give up and stop looking. In the mean time try to be kind to yourself. Don't work outside the required hours. Conveyancing will just have to wait a bit longer. No one ever worked overtime when I was moving and will they thank you. Probably not?
Londonlass I got a message pop up that a word I used on a most indicated I was at risk of harm? I've read post a few times but I can't spot it.
Sheer fluke I ticked the right box and it went.
Three times! What did I do?
Mag123 I’ve a similar problem in that I too use my phone on the site, and tagging is no joke either since the re-jig of the site! I really hope you manage to get your work-life balance easier with a new job if needed. I also think similar happens to Anna12345 as I feel you too are working long hours?
I’ve had gut problems and also, oddly, some balance problems too, no idea why. I’m back on all my meds (came off quite a few due to concern about effect of dehydration on kidney function)
hugs xxx
Moomy
moomy you’re right, I overstretch myself! I work in a school so in that respect I don’t work particularly long hours but I volunteer in several roles, always trying to lose some and seem to gain more and am a single parent to a teenager who I spend half my life ferrying about
There are never enough hours. Sometimes I don’t get a chance read everything fully if I’ve not been on for a bit. Also, sometimes there are delays on posts appearing on here, or of course you spend ages writing something and it never appears! X
Good morning....
I hope you are all ok in the cold. It's wet in Portugal .....very wet ....but not cold.
So keep warm. Wrap up if you have to go out. Keep those heaters on. It's only a few days of extra cost and especially if you're having treatment.... don't get cold.
The rain here was so heavy that the road became a river. Luckily the cottage is uphill from the town. I suspect some flooding. Also very strong winds.
