Happy Birthday Londonlass! By creating this group of fruity loops, you have created an amazing group of people who care! Thank you! Over 6 years ago, I was really struggling and this group helped enormously! Over the years, I’ve popped back for friendship and support….and now diagnosed with rectal cancer i come back to my favourite confidants!
Good news re: sigmoidoscopy (thanks LP for being there….good job I brought biscuits as we had a bit of a wait) looks like I can have less invasive operation and it will be next Tuesday! Delighted after the Christmas lull to be cracking on!
If LP is around, his company would be appreciated….
Oh that’s good news (well, as good as it can be I guess) Galligirl , will be thinking of you….
night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish
hugs xxx
ps, my worry of sore areas turns out to be scar tissue around the surgical clips. Phew! Also (at last) been taught the pressure/depth to massage around the whole mx area to break up the scar tissue a bit.
Moomy
Flossie25 enjoy your trip, I'm imagining great food, and warmer weather.
moomy so glad it's just scar tissue and you have ways to try and help.
Galligirl that's better than it could be news, and fast. Will think of you on Tuesday.
It's 3am and me and Tiki-cat are awake watching US cop dramas. Her because she's a loyal lil furball even if she likes to act fearsome, me because nausea and hot flashes (is it night sweats if you aren't sleeping...?) Taking tamoxifen at night helps with sickness but wasn't fast enough falling asleep tonight apparently. BUT (ignoring crazy moodswings) I'm mentally doing okay. Fatigue is lessening after trying some diet changes. Pain is a stable 'mild'. So I can manage a bad night sometimes. Life is not bad!
It will definitely be warmer BoxOfFrogs
Hope you can catch up on a bit of sleep after cop drama viewing. Sounds as though you’ve cracked your pain management somewhat. Hope nausea settled. Hope you have a good day xx

Aww moomy , I hope everyone else is okay, and just busy. Thank you for the nightly fairy dust =)
Things are okay here. Had a quiet stay-at-home today as the last few days I've been out and about, so need to recharge for weekend plans with friends.
Went to local Maggies yesterday and made a connection with a couple who were there. They're encouraging me to try going to the women's cancer group there. It's monthly and next meets on Thurs.
xx
