Aurora and my bruising, Dicha ? Not so much of the fabulous red and green colouring on my chest…..but a good analogy! made me grin! I’ve been taking its photo each day just to be sure it’s not extending much and isn’t getting red with infection! Bless you….
you’re right of course, I am now listening to my body (not much option to ignore, really!) as I also guess all that bruising is telling me I lost some blood….
Must get going and organise my dinner, a crumb covered fillet of fish and lots of vegetables (a microwave mix freshly delivered plus some asparagus to get gently pan fried with the fish). I eat early as I’ve been annoyed so much by indigestion due to Alendronic acid. So eating early helps reduce the angst when I get to bed (and I won’t be late tonight!)

Dear Northerner thankyou for the little extra fairy dust from the Aurora,a few pages ago!!what a lovely thought.
well I answered the wrong date today on your chart!
…but it was just that I saw a real friend today.
Her name in J,and I used to work with her and ever since I had my cancer in 2016,she has visited me very regularly. She wasn’t even one of my best friends at work, but has turned out to be possibly the best!
She often remembers to bring a little chocolate which is so much What the Doctor Ordered!
so she took me shopping today (I had to give up my car after I had cancer)
and while out I trailed around M and S and then saw some beautiful stock flowers, and just bought her a bunch .She was everso delighted and I felt happy that I had thanked her perhaps in a real way.It was a very happy moment xx
That’s so lovely, Violetsniff , sometimes true friends are those we may not be sure about at the start but are the ones who stay with you and help over the years. Daughter found that when she had cancer, one of her quartet friends was overheard to say that perhaps it was a good thing she was ill, she could do all the admin work! If that had been me overhearing it I think I’d have flattened her! but another that she hardly knew, has become and remained one of her closest friends.

Lovely to see you posting again London Lass. You created a very special thing that night seven years ago. Thank you. It’s a place many of us are able to share our highs and lows with those that understand what we are going / been through. It’s a club none of us wanted to join but one where you feel supported from those who know, where you can contribute and where you can read others experiences and hopefully give advice and support to others who are joining this thread when anxious. What made it special for me when undergoing treatment was all of the above but what stood out was the fun , camaraderie and humour you London Lass were able to add in such a lovely way and the many many Fruit Loops who care and give friendship to others. So amazing it is probably the longest thread on this site. Congratulations Fruit Loops. XX
Hi Londonlass
I can't believe its 7 years since I found myself wide awake in the middle of the night and found your post! A lot has changed for me over those years and so pleased that AWAKE is still going and continues to be a tremendous support group to so many people at any time of the day or night.
Wishing you and all the group well and here's to the next 7 years.
Kathy.
I used to walk around like everything was fine, but deep down, inside my shoe, my sock was sliding off.
Now I walk around and everything is fine.....one day I am going to by new socks with strong elastic......but in the meantime I am learning to stop and and pull my sock up!
Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

Good Morning Fruit Loops on this VERY SPECIAL DAY!
A certain little Guinea Pig is having a Birthday! Now I know not everyone knows LP but I think there’s still a few of you on here that have had LP join them at different times during their treatment! So hope you’ll join me in wishing him a Very Happy 7th Birthday!

And of course in LP style……

It always about the food isn’t it!!

I can guarantee you he wouldn’t be impressed if I gave him a bowl full of Lettuce today!! Think Cake might be expected and lots of treats! Although he’ll have to wait until I’m back from Acupuncture!
For all the newbies who don’t really know about LP! Yes I can confirm I am totally nuts, hence the reason the Fruit Loops were started
Lots of Love to all. Sal xxxxxx
Happy Birthday LP! Enjoy your celebrations with LondonLass later today! I'm sure you’ll be able to manage some of these foods and Sal will help out with the wine!
