Glad you’re back to church, Violetsniff , I hope the hospital treats you far better in future.
That’s a good idea to use your grass for Ted, Snowys Mum , I bet that’s why he looks so good!
Flossie25 , it’s a bit ache-making tackling the garden again after the worst of the winter, my grass was getting stupidly long so I braved cutting it a week ago. It needs some treatment this spring. I’m up to date though, having sorted the strawberry bed. Set tomato seeds, and also French marigolds (which plant well with tomatoes) and trailing nasturtiums to go in a pot on my water butt, also some dahlia seeds as I wanted a bit of late colour.
Off to bed now, daughter is well on her way here.
night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish

Good morning....still it rains although we are promised sun later. Any journey now is like living in the Lake District. Most roadside fields are under water and in some places the water is over the road. I live on chalk but my garden is waterlogged. No chance of grass cutting here. It's long, thick and needs to dry out. In addition because of the mild, everything is in advance. The azalea is flowering and some tulips have opened. The daffodils have been flattened regularly. I have vases in doors from the breakages.
Disastrous week.....neurologue disappoibting. Practically no feeling below knee now when hit with hammer or vibrating fork. Increased pills yet again. Mum has hurt her back and her legs won't support her. Luckily the doors are wide enough for wheel chair and OH was insistant that all the floors were at the same level when he renovated house. Who knew the delays this caused would be so important?. We bought a zimmer so she can pull herself out of chair or bed. I think it's a bit better this morning. I gave her a bell to ring me in the night....3 times last night....to go to the toilet.
Finally the car after OH's accident has been written off....repairs more than value. He was lucky to be unhurt but this has been such a nuisance and we still have to collect our stuff from the car over one and half hours away at a time Mum can't travel. Nightmare!
Have a good day all. Hope the chemo ladies are starting to recuperate. I suspect from their silence they have not.
Love to everyone. I can't name you all but I have followed your posts and am thinking of you all.
I love that, being in a silly mood. Something that brings the joy out in you !!! I love it when dancing and everyone is smiling, a group hug and our leader fuzzing over with enthusiasm.
Good everything was ok for you Snowys Mum & the results were quick. Our garden has always been a natural one and get a lot of the heavy duty stuff done by others. Good idea about using your grass for Ted. We are trimming out excess apple tree branches today and bending/weighting the others so more easily managed and to minimise apples falling on road and making a mess. We talk about downsizing but yet to do anything about it. I hope your job continues to go well.

You’re very proactive with your garden moomy I’ve got some bulbs to plant as they are easy. Need to get some seeds into pots. Coriander will be on windowsill this year. “Grass” is cut but mostly moss so scarifying needed. Fencing needs sorting too. Outside boundary will probably need replacing but will try repairing first… 8 panels. There’s always something to do.

Lacomtekp good morning, sorry to hear about the lack of feeling and also lack of sleep! Getting up for Mum. I just wondered if you had considered a commode for Mum I would put it right next to the bed with the zimmer also right next to the bed and a very short nighty. Just an idea from an old nurse. You need your sleep xxx
Flossie25 I'm desperate to move/downsize. I've lived here 19 years and I don't need a big house with big gardens. But I have 2 stray cats I have been feeding and giving shelter to for 9 years. So maybe here till they pass away. However I'm lucky to even have a house. Good luck with your apple branches, Ted would like the apples xxxx
Oh dear, Lacomtekp , yes, a commode and short nighty would definitely help your Mum, so very sorry the neuropathy is so bad. Thinking of you, the extra caring role is tough when you’re not fully fit. What a game about the car, but glad it’s at last being resolved.
