Oops 2 posts the same .. how did that happen. 
Interesting talk about gifting at Christmas. Giving has reduced over the years due to not as  many people as before sadly. It amazes me how much money people feel they have to spend. It shouldn’t be about the cost but the thought. A token gift should suffice altho I guess a receiver might not be happy . The gift of spending time with people too… any time of the year.  I’m one of those who thinks Christmas is too commercialised these days and there is too much pressure on people. It’s a very personal thing too.

Anyway I’ll be getting my mams foot high Xmas tree out, making an outside wreath and look for some lights. A bit of decor will be good. A lot of friends no longer send cards as they give to a charity instead. I still need cards. 

Hi Fruit Loops! So appointment was sort of what I expected (ish)! I sort of prepared myself, but a small part of me was hoping for a solution to pain and no change in my Stable disease!

BUT….

That wasn’t meant to be sadly. So it appears I have active disease above and below the resected area of my sternum! However that is the only area, which is ‘good’…. Well crap! But you know what I mean! There was also a ‘hot spot’ in/on my nasopharynx? He was not overly concerned about that, but YES it will need checking out! What Fun!!

So he has done blood tests this morning and ordered an MRI scan to get a better look at the areas. Also sent me scans to Charing Cross where I had my original surgery, to see what they think! 
Then he talked about Letrozole, Radiotherapy and Bone strengthening injection (every 4 weeks) to go nicely alongside the 3 weekly Zoladex I’m already on!! 

So feeling….

but also a bit…..

and not forgetting….

Think that covers it! 

Yes I know it could be worse! But it could also of been better! Not what I wanted for Christmas! Bloody Santa must of miss read my letter this year!!

Oh LondonLass not at all the Christmss gift you wanted from the doctors but as you say, it could have been  a lot worse and at least they are straight onto it.

I'm sorry Sal LondonLass vent here anytime. It's crap and you don't have to be brave or put on a cheerful face here. 

Hopefully you can crack on with the various treatments soon, to control or shrink the active areas.

So, so very sorry LondonLass , a pants result. But at least he’s getting going with ideas of how t  ok treat while sorting out extra investigations too.

well this morning worked under the stairs (sitting down labelling sizes)which I am enjoying more and more,when Santa Claus and Rudolf walked in!!(in Charity Shop)

well they were bringing items from another shop but they gave me such a shock with their antlers!!

stay warm and  take one day at a time up to Christmas  it is getting mad out there xxDont feel under pressure xx
