Sabrina22 mainly drills, woodworking and gardening. He's made a garden table, 1/2 built wood store and urm stopped. He cuts lawn, I do next doors overhanging hedges and he watches me like a hawk with his tools, cleans them etc. he can't use them as he's spinal cord damage so has arm spasms. We have a gardener to do front flower bed as we've both dodgy backs. He did sell his unopened petrol chainsaw as he bought a new cordless one - uses it to cut logs for wood burner ! His favourite are Einhell power x change tools, so we've quite a collection!
Grogg it was NatWest. Had my own issues with Halifax. No one does their job properly , customer service had gone out the window, and there is too much reliance on technology. They have been trained to fob you off with the b@#&£y app! Xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Thank you Mag123 Northerner and moomy Your experience with GP sounds horrendous Mag123 and with LPA. Agree that Askmygp is very helpful, tho what will happen after May 15th I dread to think.
Had to laugh at your husband Grogg
Positive news today. Saw chiropractor re my knee. It is a torn hamstring rather than exacerbation of OA. Gave me a good massage and a knee support, with advice not to walk too far, and avoid some of the strenuous bits of Tai Chi. He explained how all my other probs have contributed, back, neck, feet etc. I have to see him quite a few times to put it right. All makes sense.
Love to all fruitloops xxx

Ah Seaspirit44 that does sound more positive re the torn hamstring although that in itself sounds very painful . But at least it can mend. x
Hi Hun, pleased to read you have seen a chiropractor and they are working to get you back up on your feet....hopefully pain free!
Sending Love and Hugs to all the Fruit Loops, New and Old!
AWAKE thread will be celebrating its 6th Birthday in a couple of weeks so wondered if people might like an online party? Just like the old days?
Will be back on later with a few ideas on virtual party games/gifts etc!! I know LP will be VERY excited as it'll be his 6th Birthday a few days later!!
Big (((((HUGS))))) to all who need them! Sal xxxx
I had issue with Toby. Had a voucher which says 6 over 60s can have £5 roast. I'm not old enough but passed to my sister (she hates me reminding her she's older ). They refused said only 1 person can have discounted meal. Wouldn't back down so complained to customer services, they too said I was misinterpreting voucher. I wasn't but wouldn't back down until another complainant contacted CEO who said there had been miscommunication and staff /restaurants informed. I now have a voucher for two free meals . I don't know how they could argue given the terms on the voucher. It's in plain English .

Oh my, that long? 6 years of love, help, support and fun! Bravo, dear LondonLass for starting the thread and ‘adopting’ us all.
Big hugs xxx
Moomy
