glad you’re getting referred for physio. The injection mentioned may be hydrocortisone?

Don't be ashamed I love that you can be like this. The amassing of stuff makes it harder. We both love our stuff. My husband went to public school and effectively was abandoned at 8. My childhood home was very sparse and my parents cleaned all day. I have a friend who cleans, her parents didn't, it started as a child for her. It's whatever makes you happy and content.

Need a rant. We have got some equity release for house improvements and my medical expenses. We’ve put it into savings accounts. Since before Easter we have had no access to our savings due to a tech hitch. Also since before Raster we have been trying to open a joint bank account  for the house improvements. I had to open a personal account first. After hours at home and hours in the bank I now have a personal account, but the app doesn’t work, and in order to add my husband we have to use the app.Another 1 /1/2 hours in bank this morning, and we need to go on again to add my husband. The assistant said she had never had a problem like this before!! 
In addition I have been unable to contact my private health ins co regarding knee and ankle treatment. 6 attempts, hanging on phone for more than an hour, person a answering could not help me, tried auto callback, no one called, tried email, no reply. 
I’m a nervous wreck after all this. xxx

Dear Seaspirit44 what a rotten time you are having with Bank accounts. Please feel free to rant away. It does help and we are here for you. I totally empathise about trying to get hold of ppl on the phone. It took me 182 calls on Tuesday to get through the doctors and it has taken me a month to get an appointment. I called over a hundred times day  upon day. When I did get through eventually on previous occasions all of the appointments had already gone and you can't pre book at our surgery!

Bloody stupid system we have now. I hate all this hanging on and redialing. I became my Mothers Power of Attorney for health and finances. Been through it all, had to go the bank so many times to sort it out. How really elderly people with dementia cope, my husband has it with his brother now. Hope it's sorted soon for you. Xxx

Oh dear seaspirit44 , what an absolute pain! Sometimes you get days like this, I really hope when you try again it all works - and breathe!

 Mag123 that made me snort !  Hubby was in hospital for 6 weeks and they were moving him to rehab an hours drive away.  I needed enough shorts & T-shirts for a week as we had a heatwave and he physio daily so would get sweaty and I was working full time so not doing constant laundry too!  I knew he had a load of shorts but I just kept finding pikes and piles of t shirts, & shorts many  that were 20/30 years old.  I told him loads had holes which he accepted and I bought him new .   I'd tried before to get him to ditch jeans but he claimed he wore them - he didn't.  I knew he wouldn't noticed they'd been binned.   Only told him much later to prove my point !  He has since gone though shirts, sweatshirts etc. but now he buys  power tools !

seaspirit44 was this Halifax by any chance.  My daughter had problems for over a year trying to change her surname con joint account after marriage.  I eventually found complaint address and they just changed it after numerous failed visits and calls. 

What's the power tools for? To build a fortress for his clothes.?
