.
How lovely Mag123 to be there to see the celebrations!,
It is my husbands birthday today (6 December). We met my son and partner for early dinner, haven’t seen them for 6 months so that was lovely.
Tomorrow we are seeing them again and his Dad joining us (my ex husband), so will be lovely too.
I had Christmas food tonight and pub was really cosy and festive.
Weather is a bit of a shock, but never mind more clothes needed!
Enjoy your time in Prague! Xx
Karen22 no the painful joints have started just recently, about six months into taking Letrazole. I have arthritis already, so I'm used to pain in some form or another, but these latest ones are making me feel really down. (Stiff, painful shoulder ball joints, painful ankle joints and now the back.....which is already affected by a herniated disc, but is usually kept under control by monthly physiotherapy, but that doesn't seem to be helping at the moment) . Thanks you Karen.

Sorry I was quiet yesterday. It was a bad one. I am still in Praugue and I took a call from the daughter of a close friend telling me my friend had passed away. She was a good age and I thought of her as a second mother in a way. I used to live 2 doors from her and took her to her many medical appointments every week, helped when she needed bandages changing or her washing machine was playing up. I did her shopping for her and just went round for chats. Just before lockdown she was taken into in a care home and I wasn't allowed to see her. I have been visiting again but it was awkward as there was nowhere to sit when I visited and she had no privacy yo talk. She will be sorely missed.
Then I also had a call from my son that one of my beloved cats seemed unwell. He was an old cat but had been running after me up and down stairs on Saturday. My son took the cat to the vet and the vet rang for authority to put him to sleep. I wasn't there to give him one last cuddle and I feel so guilty for that. My son doesn't do emotion. He has Aspergers. But he cried yesterday. I am so proud of him for managing something like this on his own when normally he would shy away from it.
Anyway, off to Regensburg today for a visit to see the beautiful city where my son met his fiancee while at university there.
Dicha This is no help to you whatsoever but we have pain management clinics in France. It didn't take months for referral either.....4 weeks. Perhaps it would be worth asking? I was given help trialling different quantities of drug plus there are groups like swimming( not suitable for my problem but probably help you) and a type of gentle physio where they find simple, quick exercises to help your individual need. The exercise that helped me was so simple you would never have thought of it.....bending backwards ten times when I get up and at other intervals during day. It helped release sciatic nerve from pressurising on joints but as I said, although there is arthritis my problem is nerve related thanks to chemo.
Hope it helps to know I am up and reading your message.....have a good day. Has the cold reached you? It got to Bordeaux yesterday!
Photo is the Savoie yesterday. Son on his ' off time!'
Oh goodness Mag123 such a sad day for you yesterday, I’m sending loving hugs.
Your will rest in peace now with all the lovely memories of your visits and chats just as those memories will stay with you.
Pets are family so for your poor cat to have to walk the rainbow bridge so suddenly and with you not there is heartbreaking but perhaps he/she wanted to spare you. Your son really did amazing to ensure no suffering took place.
I hope these events can be put in a little mental box for now so you can enjoy the rest of your trip.
Take care xx
