Thank you everyone, just back from penultimate rads, LP has got the set up perfect now,

Im also feeling less sick and have a craving for chippy sausage and chips  so my son is picking some up.

LP has been eating healthily and been encouraging me to have nibbles.

Have to say thank you for all your good wishes, don’t think I could do this without you all behind me, I have fantastic friends but they have never been through it so your support is invaluable xxxx

Good morning....

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to add my written support to you all as I've read that some of you are having a very difficult time with returning cancers and secondaries, with results( both good and bad news) and effects of medication of all types. I am thinking of you all, reading when I can.....although I can only go back 2 pages so sometimes I have to guess if posting has been brisk.....and I hope you found the hugs I have been sending.

Life, as you can imagine, has been tiring/ hectic with mum . It hasn't been helped by the fact that despite asking my sister not to plan a return date.. .mum can legally spend 90 days as a visitor post Brexit. .my sister has insisted on coming to France this week to get her. Mum was distraught. She wants to stay here. OH says she can. We can apply for a years visa for the immediate future. My sister was insisting..  I was demanding to know 'why?'......( access to money?) then suddenly two days ago, she agreed so today we are meeting for coffee to collect a few things , some cash but no bank card. She won't give me that! Says mum's card is in her name. Bank says only one attorney can have card....so mum is staying here with no access to her own money. It's so stressful although I appreciate not like the problems some of you are having with your health. I just want to get through today. Mum says she likes it here, Dad won't be there if she returns, she wants to stay and more worrying. ..she feels safe. What went on at my sister's?.  She can't remember.  She can remember her old house, address , etc but in her own words she  has blanked out living at my sister's.  Anyway, that's my day which was bad enough but we wake up this morning with French news telling us we are less than 10 miles from the latest wild fires. No sign of rain. We have planes overhead watching and damping down.....no request yet to evacuate but nearest villages apparently have. Wind is warm from North Africa, storms are missing us.

These are strange times. We are also dealing with the Queen's death. Mum is the same age. It has upset her although she has wanted to watch all of the Queen's journey.

Sorry this was long. I don't expect I shall have time to write again at length for a few days so my love to everyone. I hope the pains and sickness can be controlled but also the oncologists can offer reassurances. LondonLass I am so pleased about your stability and you must be such an inspiration to the others who now have the same diagnosis. How important your advice regarding dealing with the future problems, is going to be?

Love to all. Time to take mum's pills and tea. I mustn't get it wrong today. My sister doesn't think I'm capable and that mum is capable of making her own decisions..........No Comment   !!!!!

Oh Lacomtekp I am so sorry times are stressful for you at the moment. It must be an extremely anxious time waiting to find out if you will need to evacuate due to the fires and where you would go. 

The arguments with your sister over your mother must be really upsetting when all you want is for your mother to feel happy and safe. But to cut her off from her own money? That is just outrageous! So you can have your mother stay but at your own expense!

Lacomtekp. Glad your mother staying .  If you tell your mothers bank she's vulnerable and take your mother to solicitor while she has capacity thry can block the card your sister has and reissue.  You clearly making your mother very comfortable xx

Yes I'm off to Cardiff to see the King .  Think we will go to the Senedd in Cardiff bay as we going by train as road closures and lack of parking in Llandaff will make it too tricky to drive (it's normally an hours drive).
